Architectures

OpenHPI, being a hardware platform interface standard implementation, is not tied itself to any one architecture. OpenHPI supports different platforms through plugins. So in order to gauge the architectures it supports one needs to look at what plugins exist today for OpenHPI. More on that below. Having said that, OpenHPI has been built on many architectures: x86, x86_64, ia64, ppc, s390, which is not the same as saying that it runs in a useful way on those architectures as that depends on the available plugins.

Distributions supported

OpenHPI not tied to any one distribution. The source should build on any linux distribution given it has the dependencies (see above) installed.
